About

Mammabella began as I started teaching my children Afrikaans at home. Having grown up Afrikaans, I found it quite a challenge to introduce Afrikaans to my English-speaking children. Instead of teaching it as a subject, I started making up songs, very spontaneously, about every-day things we encountered. They responded positively and began learning Afrikaans by having fun with Mom!
